In the mid 2010’s, Hunter Ralston and her father, Barry Ralston, embarked on an innovative venture – crafting tin tacker signs. Hunter had been immersed in her father’s nameplate business, Quality Name Plate, where metal printing techniques were mastered. Inspired by their shared passion for manufacturing, professional racing, travel and beer, the brainchild known as Taproom Tackers came into existence!

During their family excursions, they began collecting signs from various breweries, only to realize that not every brewery had one. This sparked an idea within Hunter & Barry, leveraging the resources of Quality Name Plate’s manufacturing facility. They thought, “why not create tacker signs?” and the rest is history!

Taproom Tackers made its official debut in October 2016, and in no time, we fostered connections with numerous breweries in Connecticut, as well as breweries and businesses across 49 states, Costa Rica and Canada. As a new division of Quality Name Plate, we are brimming with enthusiasm for our accomplishments and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
